Who We Are
ALM is a collaboration between local farmers, crafters, businesses and economic development professionals. |
The seeds of the Acton Local Market were planted in 2015, when a farmer, a homesteader, a crafter and a brick-and-mortar businessman in Acton came together collectively to set up a monthly open-air sales outlet for their products under "The Tabernacle" at the historic Acton Public Square. Even with scant promotion, customer traffic was encouraging enough to plan for another year.

We love our vendors!
|
We've devoted the focus of our 2018 efforts to enhancing the customer experience. We're seeking volunteers to coordinate cooking and fitness demos, onsite social media and entertainment.
While farm-raised food will always be our emphasis, we're committed to creating an interesting shopping experience for the community that includes fresh baked and canned goods, along with hand-crafted items produced locally. We strive to create synergies with the Acton business community, and we do it all with an awareness that today's consumers crave information and entertainment. If you share our ideals and objectives, let's talk! |
